A special talk by SRF/YSS President Brother Chidananda, in honor of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi (Gandhi Jayanti) was livestreamed on October 2, 2019. Following his talk, Brother Chidananda led a brief period of meditation and then a prayer service for world peace.
This event was broadcast from the Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine, where Paramahansa Yogananda established a Mahatma Gandhi World Peace Memorial (containing a portion of Gandhi’s ashes) when he dedicated the SRF Lake Shrine in 1950.
