2021 SRF World Convocation: August 8 – 14, 2021
We know that many of you are eagerly anticipating news about the 2021 SRF World Convocation, scheduled for August 8 – 14, and therefore we would like to share the following information with you.
Convocation 2021 will be fully online
As the city of Los Angeles―along with much of the United States and the world―continues its efforts to reduce the spread of the coronavirus, it is unknown at this time when public gatherings and the wide range of other restricted activities will be allowed to resume. Therefore, after revisiting this matter with the management of the Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites, site of the annual Self-Realization Fellowship World Convocation in Los Angeles, we have had to cancel all Convocation activities planned to be held at the hotel for 2021.
However, we are pleased to announce that we are again planning to present a fully online Convocation in 2021, details of which will be shared in early 2021. As many of you may know, because we were able to host an online World Convocation in 2020, tens of thousands of SRF members, friends, and newcomers around the world were able to experience this unique spiritual gathering―many for the first time.
Sharing appreciation for the 2020 Convocation
We have been so moved by the heartfelt appreciation that many of you have expressed to us regarding SRF’s first fully online Convocation this past year. We would like to share with you one such correspondence from a member in South Africa:

Although I’ve been blessed to attend Convocation and events in India in the past, this truly worldwide Convocation has brought this meeting of souls to another level. Although it is very special to be with thousands of devotees in one place, traveling from countries like South Africa is very taxing in many ways. To experience the kirtans, talks, meditations, and even the pilgrimages firsthand in the sanctuary of one’s meditation room is a very elevating experience. We are confident that once again, the spiritual connection that so many of you felt during the 2020 SRF Online Convocation will be experienced anew in 2021.
