SRF’s Brother Tyagananda Shares Yogananda’s “How-to-Live” Wisdom in Two Interviews — Video

December 21, 2020

Paramahansa Yogananda’s “How-to-Live” teachings were recently the subject of two interviews with Self-Realization Fellowship monk Brother Tyagananda, who spoke with journalists from the U.S. and Italy.

“Idee Meravigliose” (Wonderful Ideas) Interview

Italy’s Crono News featured Brother Tyagananda on its “Idee Meravigliose” (Wonderful Ideas) program, hosted by Cristiano Luchini. Conducted in both Italian and English, the interview focuses on insights from Paramahansaji on living a more heart-centered life, awakening the soul through meditation, and the underlying similarities between the original teachings of Jesus and the ancient science of Yoga. In referring to today’s challenging times, Brother Tyagananda says, “What matters most is to enter the peace, the calmness of the heart, reconnecting with the silent voice of our soul.” The October 6 interview closes with a brief but powerful guided meditation led by Brother Tyagananda in Italian.

“Voices of Courage” Interview

During an interview with “Voices of Courage” host Ken D. Foster entitled “The Courage to Awaken Your Spiritual Powers,” Brother Tyagananda states, “The practice of Kriya Yoga primarily helps us to remember — to realize — who we are.” He shares with viewers steps for developing a personal relationship with the Divine and how to transform difficult situations through meditation.

The podcast version is also available at Apple Podcasts  and iHeart Radio.
