With joy I welcome you to our website and the first installment of the SRF Blog, where the other monastics and I will be sharing Paramahansa Yogananda’s timeless wisdom and inspiration for living a spiritually centered life.
A world teacher to countless seekers around the globe, Paramahansaji said, “Learn to be calmly active and actively calm, carrying into your daily activities the calmness gained in the spiritual activity of meditation.” As more and more people make the effort to follow this guidance, cultivating a dynamic inner communion with the Divine that flows outward in a spirit of love and service toward all, greater harmony and peace will manifest not only in the lives of those individuals, but in our communities, nations, and throughout the world.
Experiencing the joy of the soul is at the core of Paramahansa Yogananda’s spiritual path. So I encourage you to start today to explore the ancient science of yoga meditation — or to deepen your practice if you have already begun — for meditation is the most direct means to realizing that joy. Our SRF website is here to assist you in your spiritual quest.
