January 5 is the birthday of Paramahansa Yogananda, guru-founder of Self-Realization Fellowship. The following special online services will be held to honor Paramahansa Yogananda:
- Sunday, January 5, 9:00 a.m. (PST): Birthday Commemoration Service — Led by an SRF Monastic
- Saturday, January 11, 8:00 a.m. (PST): Commemorative Six-Hour Meditation — Led by SRF/YSS Members

Commemorative Services in SRF
In Self-Realization Fellowship, certain commemorative services are conducted throughout the year to honor the enlightened gurus in the SRF lineage.
The teachings of SRF are founded upon the original Christianity of Jesus Christ and the original Yoga of Bhagavan Krishna. The spiritual lineage of SRF consists of these two great avatars and a line of exalted masters of contemporary times: Mahavatar Babaji, Lahiri Mahasaya, Swami Sri Yukteswar, and Paramahansa Yogananda (last in the line of SRF Gurus).
Paramahansa Yogananda Birthday Commemoration Service

Join us for an online commemoration service, conducted in English by an SRF monastic. You are welcome to participate in the service below or join via Zoom (during the live event).

Paramahansa Yogananda Commemorative Six-Hour Meditation
Saturday, January 11, 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (Pacific Time)
A six-hour meditation in honor of Paramahansa Yogananda's birthday, conducted in English by SRF/YSS members, will be streamed live through the SRF Online Meditation Center, where you can participate via Zoom or video feed. There will be an intermission halfway through this long meditation. The meditation will continue to be available until Sunday, January 26 at 10:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) for those who are unable to join the livestream event.
