We are happy that you will be joining us in person for this year’s Convocation. Please note the following:
The SRF World Convocation will take place at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites located at 404 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA, 90071.
For those driving to the classes each day, we will be able to provide parking validations for some local garages. For up-to-date rates and garage locations you may either check the SRF website or contact the information desk in the Santa Anita Room at the Bonaventure Hotel upon arrival, or you may call Membership Services at +1 (818) 549-5151.
We have been advised that it is safest to park either in the Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites parking garage or in a parking garage not more than one or two blocks away. While more economical rates may be available at parking lots several blocks from the hotel, we understand that these lots are less secure both for unattended vehicles and for those walking to and from them after dark. You may wish to arrange carpooling to reduce parking expenses.
If you would like information regarding making reservations at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites or the Millennium Biltmore Hotel, please visit our website. Please do not send your reservation request or deposit to Self-Realization Fellowship, as we are unable to process your reservations or hotel payments, and the delay could cause you to miss securing your reservation.
If the California Ballroom is full, the Pasadena Room will be available with large video screens for viewing the event.
The doors to the event halls will open one hour before each class, allowing sufficient time for everyone to be seated. It is not necessary to arrive earlier.
Children ages 12 and over who are Self-Realization Fellowship Lessons students may be registered for the Convocation. We are not able to accommodate children who are younger than 12 at the classes or at other events in the California Ballroom, overflow room, or at the pilgrimage sites. A parent-child room (with a monitor for viewing classes) has been set up primarily to accommodate those parents from out of town who are traveling with children. However, because the capacity of this room is limited, we may not be able to accommodate all those who might like to use this facility. Before using this room all parents must review the Guidelines for Use of the Parent-Child Room and also sign a release form. The Guidelines and release form will be available at the Youth Services desk at the Bonaventure Hotel. There will be no preregistration, as the room is on a first-come, first served basis only.
At the Bonaventure Hotel, all children and teens under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18 years of age or older) at all times, according to hotel policy.
We ask that no audio or video recordings (cell phone cameras included) be made during the Convocation, and that still photography be limited to outdoor areas. (This policy also applies to pilgrimages.) We also ask that no laptops or tablets be used during any of the events.
