No matter what your faith is, what your belief is, Kriya Yoga is the scientific highway to the Infinite — for you will ascend the path from which your spirit descended into the flesh and became locked in the body. That is the purpose of Kriya Yoga. Kriya means action, and yoga means unity. Kriya Yoga means that action which brings unity of the descended soul with the Spirit from which we descended.
The reversal of the life force from matter to Spirit is called pranayama. By withdrawing the life current from externals through Kriya Yoga, the consciousness begins inwardly to awaken to its higher nature in God.
Withdrawing mind and life force from the sensory and motor nerves, the yogi leads them through the spine into the brain into eternal light. Here the mind and life become united with the eternal wisdom of Spirit manifested in the cerebrum.
Kriya Yoga is no ordinary breathing exercise: It is the highest known technique of pranayama, by which you can consciously control the life force in the body and thereby attain cosmic consciousness.
In Kriya Yoga ecstasy, the body is perceived not as flesh but as electro-lifetronic energy. The body thus realized as life force becomes one with Cosmic Energy. The ego consciousness is transmuted into the inconceivable bliss of the soul. The soul and its bliss commingle with the cosmic blessedness of Spirit.
After years of intense practice, and through the blessing of my Guru and Paramgurus, now when I do only one to three Kriyas my consciousness enters the blissful samadhi state. My Beloved Lord is never more than a Kriya away.
We invite you to continue to learn about the tremendous value of Kriya Yoga by watching “Awakening the Spine Through Kriya Yoga” by Brother Chidananda, which is an excerpt from one of his talks that was released in 2020 as a weekly online inspirational service, “Kriya Yoga: Science of Spiritual Living for the Modern Age.”
