SRF/YSS President Brother Chidananda, joined with other world spiritual figures in offering a message of hope and spiritual guidance for all during Sion Earth’s online event on May 21, 2020. Taking place on “World Meditation Day,” this special event brought together people around the globe for united meditation and prayer.
Following is a link to the video of Brother Chidananda’s message, which is part of the video of the full event that was posted on Sion Earth’s YouTube channel. Brother Chidananda’s address is preceded by excerpts from the documentary Awake: The Life of Yogananda.
“As the world is coming into a new form we are asking you to join the world’s leading spiritual teachers and artists of our time to shift the global energy from fear and into love,” was how Sion Earth described their noble ambition in holding the #MAYDAY event, which included a one-hour program of speakers and artists, followed by a twenty-minute worldwide meditation. By uniting people from multiple faith traditions in a singular spiritual effort, Sion Earth aimed to help people to better learn to focus on “healing, empathy, and mindfulness.”
Organizations that participated with Self-Realization Fellowship in this event include Agape International, the Brahma Kumaris, the Huffington Post, A Greater Good Foundation, and many others.
On an ongoing basis, SRF also welcomes all seekers to:

· and pray with us for all those in need of healing, and for the betterment of the world.
