A special talk by SRF/YSS President Brother Chidananda, in honor of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi (Gandhi Jayanti), was livestreamed on this page (see below) and the SRF YouTube channel on Wednesday, October 2, at 7:30 p.m. (PDT). Following his talk, Brother Chidananda lead a brief period of meditation and then a prayer service for world peace.
This event was broadcast from the Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine, where Paramahansa Yogananda established a Mahatma Gandhi World Peace Memorial (containing a portion of Gandhi’s ashes) when he dedicated the SRF Lake Shrine in 1950.
