Warmest greetings to you! We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation for your love and friendship this past year. Please know how deeply grateful we are for your outpouring of prayers, service, and financial support as we walk this universal path of yoga brought by our guru, Paramahansa Yogananda.

Over the past year, as a united spiritual family we have been able to accomplish much in advancing Paramahansa Yogananda’s mission. With the help of your generous support in 2023, together we were able to expand access to Paramahansaji’s liberating teachings and timeless wisdom to even more spiritual seekers worldwide.

For example, the weekly online inspirational services program provided an increasing number of members and friends of SRF with the opportunity to put into practice the time-tested insights and methods of yoga. And expanded online programs for children and teens enabled more young people around the world to gain critical “how-to-live” skills and develop new and rewarding spiritual friendships.

Many hands working together also made possible a major collaborative accomplishment for Paramahansaji’s work in 2023, one that will change the lives of thousands of spiritual seekers — the release of the much-anticipated Portuguese language edition of the new Self-Realization Fellowship Lessons. One of our Portuguese-speaking members expressed so beautifully in this note of appreciation:

“We are really grateful for the SRF Portuguese Lessons Launch this year. This moment brings joy, freedom, and hope to all of us Portuguese speakers. I used to think that every time reading the [English] Lessons was like having a special meeting with Guruji. And now no translation is needed — we don’t need to worry about the language anymore and if the meaning is understood correctly. We can solely concentrate on receiving the divine wisdom that Gurudeva is trying to bestow on us. We thank all those whose efforts made this translation possible.” — C. P. T., Brazil

Paramahansa Yogananda’s teachings are vitally needed in the world today, and through your own spiritual efforts and your outer support you are helping to spread Paramahansaji’s transforming message of Self-realization.

Sri Daya Mata, beloved third president of SRF/YSS, once said: “A deep bond unites all of us who love God and sincerely strive to follow the principles of spiritual living that Paramahansa Yogananda has given. We are traveling together toward the Supreme Goal; and by our prayers, meditations, and efforts to attune our thoughts and actions with the Divine, we uplift one another and can do much to spread the light of His goodness and love.”

As we look ahead to the coming months of 2024, we pray that you feel ever more tangibly the blessings of these teachings and a deepening connection and strength within Paramahansa Yogananda’s spiritual family.
