Position Summary
Under general supervision, generate worldwide sales of Self-Realization Fellowship’s products with the objective of increasing organizational outreach, growth and income.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supervising assigned sales department staff.
- Manage sales to all major domestic & overseas accounts.
- Oversee management of SRF online bookstore.
- Identify, set up and manage new domestic and overseas distribution.
- Create a vision for SRF’s long and short term sales growth and direction worldwide.
- Work with other departments to ensure efficient and timely order fulfilment.
- Provide Marketing Manager with market, product, and sales feedback. In addition, provide feedback on sales department initiatives to increase sales.
- Participate in the development of marketing plans.
- Oversee payments and collections for all accounts.
- Coordinate and administer department budgets.
- Coordinate marketing projects with sales representatives and distributors in foreign countries, including but not limited to Germany, Spain, and South America.
- Work with Marketing Manager to expand the international network of SRF sales representatives, printing partners, and distributors.
- Coordinate all activities related to SRF participation in book fairs and other outreach activities.
- Manage product pricing and payments to SRF.
- Responsible to follow SRF’s policies and established procedures.
- Other position-related tasks, as assigned.
Requirements
- 5 years sales and marketing experience in the book industry.
- Demonstrated successful supervisory experience.
- Experience working with Amazon, Ingram and other book distributors.
- Strong marketing, project management, and administrative skills.
- Familiarity with Acumen book software a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent SRF adequately when dealing with the public.
- The ability to function well in a multi-task environment.
- Familiarity with SRF’s principles and standards a plus.
- The ability to honor and maintain a strict level of confidentiality.
- The ability to work well with a variety of individuals while upholding and promoting a harmonious work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs required.
Additional Details
This is a full-time, salaried exempt position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. PST. You must be able to work a flexible schedule based on workload and deadlines.
The position is hybrid and requires working in the office, in person, from time to time.

Pay range: $72,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on skills, experience and education.
