The prestigious quarterly journal Parabola featured in its Summer 2017 issue an excerpt from Autobiography of a Yogi about the captivating story of Paramahansaji’s visit with Catholic mystic and stigmatist Therese Neumann.

Paramahansa Yogananda’s singular contribution in bringing yoga to the West was highlighted in WION, an online news site. WION reported: “In 1893, Swami Vivekananda introduced Hinduism to the West but the true essence of Yoga was first taught by Swami Paramahansa Yogananda who travelled to US in 1920.” Visit WION News for the full story.

The Spanish-language magazine Para Todosreviewed Man’s Eternal Quest in its April 2017 issue, stating that the book “offers convincing evidence that each and every one of us can discover the ever-present joy of God within and all around us.”

Padma Kuppa’s posting on the Patheos blog, “A Hindu’s Practice: Education, Meditation and Self-Realization,” cites Paramahansa Yogananda’s teachings on Kriya Yoga as a widely-revered method for modern times of reaching the ancient goal of yoga: Self-realization. Read the full post at Patheos.

The SRF Lake Shrine was included in a recent Los Angeles Magazine article entitled “100 Things You Can Do for Free in L.A.” The author of the piece wrote: “The beautiful grounds provide a relaxing escape for people of all faiths— it’s the perfect spot to meditate or relax.”
