Position Summary
Our Philanthropic Planning Department is seeking a qualified candidate, who can effectively coordinate multiple work streams, provide regular status reports, and ensure accountability for deliverables.
The position is remote. Preference will be given to candidates residing within California, Texas, Arizona, or Colorado.
This a full-time, hourly non-exempt position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. PST. Nevertheless, you must be able to work a flexible schedule based on workload and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate work streams: Plan, manage and coordinate various project work streams to ensure alignment with overall project objectives. This includes developing comprehensive project plans in suitable PM platforms, scheduling workflows, assigning tasks, and monitoring individual and project level progress.
- Manage Project Logistics: Oversee and coordinate the logistical aspects of projects, including scheduling meetings, organizing resources and arranging travel. Ensure smooth communication between stakeholders by handling day-to-today operational details and resolving scheduling conflicts or resource constraints.
- Influence and Drive Alignment: Understand broad competing priorities and use a collaborative and innovative approach to achieve objectives.
- Engage with leaders: Provide clear calls-to-action and required decisions to mitigate delays. Recommend solutions and impacts.
- Status reporting: Regularly update all stakeholders on project progress, present detailed status reports that highlight projects current state, potential risks, and proposed mitigation strategies.
- Accountability for deliverables: Ensure all team members are clear on their accountability for their tasks. Track deliverable progress, address issues promptly, and ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Assign various responsibilities as required.

Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Project Coordinator.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Project Management certifications or experience a plus.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Proficient in the use of project management methodologies and tools such as Asana, Jira, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Thrives in fast-paced start-up like environments with minimal direction.
- Self-motivated and detail oriented.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Effectively manages multiple, concurrent projects with competing deadlines and diverse stakeholders, including senior management.
- Demonstrates patience and resilience in complex decision-making processes.
- Builds strong relationships and influences decision-making to support organizational goals.
- Knowledge of and commitment to SRF’s mission and core values preferred.
- Required travel: 0 – 20%.

Pay range: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour, depending on skills, experience and education.
