Dear Ones,
Loving greetings to each one of you at this spiritually uplifting time of Janmashtami, the birth anniversary of Bhagavan Sri Krishna. Though born millenniums ago, this great and beloved avatar of divine love is just as real today to those whose hearts are attuned to him as he was when he walked the earth in his beautiful human form — ever ready to guide and uplift sincere seekers on the royal path of yoga toward the goal of Self-realization. How deeply blessed we are that through the Kriya Yoga teachings given by our guru, Paramahansa Yoganandaji, we have the same sacred formula of soul-freedom that Bhagavan Krishna imparted to Arjuna.
In the Bhagavad Gita, beloved Krishna assures us that God never loses sight of one who perceives Him everywhere and beholds everything in Him. Each time we remember God amid the duties and rhythms of daily life, choose meditation over restlessness, and perform actions with and for our Divine Beloved — each time we replace a mean thought with a compassionate one, extend kindness to others, or resist the pull of a negative habit — we draw His omnipresence ever more tangibly into our awareness. At times, devotees may feel they must first attain lofty spiritual heights or complete self-mastery before God will respond. Yet the ever-loving, watchful eyes of the Divine behold every offering of devotion and every sincere effort, cherishing each with infinite generosity. As Gurudeva Paramahansa Yoganandaji has revealed in God Talks With Arjuna, his translation and commentary on the Bhagavad Gita, even the “most fleeting thought and most trifling action may be used as stepping-stones toward His presence.”
Dear ones, as you approach your daily meditations and life experiences with the faith and spiritual enthusiasm that inspired Krishna’s devotees to cast aside material attachments and follow the call of his heavenly flute, may your hearts and minds be ever-more receptive to the living presence of his infinite, all-fulfilling love — a love that never loses sight of you and rejoices in your every spiritual victory.
As we joyously celebrate Sri Krishna’s nativity, my prayer for each one of you is that, in the sacred cradle of your own consciousness, you may receive the soul-awakening light and blessings his divine life and teachings bestow everlastingly on the world.

Thank you, at times the focus on techniques and perfecting ourselves can almost appear more important than the goal and that's sad. When His love and joy really are everywhere. And we don't have to be perfect. So thank you. You've eased my mind. As I say to close SRF friends, if we who have been on the path for decades still talk about "finding God" when do we think we will find Him?
