HOTEL REGISTRATION & INFORMATION

Hotel Reservations

Please do not send your reservation requests or deposits to Self-Realization Fellowship, as we are unable to process your reservations or hotel payments, and the delay could cause you to miss securing the hotel of your choice.  All  reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis.

To register online: Select the hotel of your choice; the link will direct you to that hotel's reservations web page, which is encoded to ensure you receive the reduced rate for the Convocation. If a hotel requires a "group code" in order to give you the reduced rate (see reverse side), you will find that information following the hotel rate; otherwise no group code is needed to register. Each hotel has its own web page where you may enter your personal information as well as arrival and departure dates. If you have specific needs (room sharing, mini refrigerator, rollaway bed, etc.) be sure to indicate so in the special requests section.

It is not advisable to send personal information or credit card information by email, as emails are not 100% secure. Of course, you can use email to communicate with the hotels on other matters. Only enter your credit card information on the secure hotel websites.

To register by phone: Please contact the participating hotel of your choice by the phone numbers provided and mention "Self-Realization Fellowship Convocation" to receive the Convocation rates offered.

Hotel Confirmation
It is very important to receive a confirmation number before you arrive.
If you register on the web, your registration number will be given to you immediately upon completing your transaction. If you make your reservations by phone, be sure to obtain a confirmation number from the hotel in which you will be staying. Please be sure to contact the hotel directly if you do not receive a confirmation number, as you will need it upon your arrival.

Hotel Rates
Special rates for hotel accommodations are being offered to Convocation participants.  All rooms are subject to tax (currently at 14.08%).

Payment
A credit card guarantee or a one night deposit is required with all reservations. If you need to mail a check, send it to the hotel of your choice, Attn: Accounting Dept., and include the registered person's name and confirmation number. If you need to cancel a reservation, please do so at least 72 hours in advance or you will be charged a one night non-refundable fee. If you cancel, please obtain and retain a cancellation number.

Sharing rooms
If two or more persons are sharing the same room, fill out only one form. If you request the hotel to assign a double room with another Convocation participant, whenever possible you will be placed with someone arriving and departing on the same day. Since this is not always possible, you should be prepared to pay the single room rate for all or at least part of your stay.

Mini-refrigerators and rollaway bed charges
There may be an additional charge for mini-refrigerators or roll-away beds. Please check with your hotel before ordering either of these items.

Required ID during check-in
Please note: The registered guest will be asked to present a government issued ID (driver's license, passport, etc.) in order to check into the hotel.

Ground Transportation
Shuttle buses to the participating hotels will be departing from the Bonaventure Hotel's Figueroa Street entrance approximately every twenty minutes. These shuttles will not run during classes.
